JEKYLL ISLAND - ONE

Hey Ya'll! I know it's been awhile since I've posted, and I'm so sorry for that!!! My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Jekyll Island for my 25th Birthday! We've been doing the whole long distance thing since January, and I can honestly say that I'm not a fan! We go about 6-7 weeks without seeing each other! The surprise trip was from Thursday to Monday and we stayed in the cutest little cottage (Cherokee Cottage) at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel! I have pictures below of the cottage! Seriously, the cutest place ever!!! He honestly way out did himself! We tried to have a weekend "phone free", so I'm sorry about the few insta posts and blog posts! You can't get quality time back though, so I'm pleased with our decision on going cell-phone free for a few hours of the day!

What better way to travel than travel in Lilly Pulitzer?!!! This Lilly dress is so bright and fun, and screams "vacation I'm coming for you"! I paired it with my fave adidas sneaks! Gotta have comfort on your feet when walking through the airport right?! & these sneakers are super comfortable!!!! Ps. this luggage is AMAZING! I'm going to be saving up for the larger size because of how obsessed I am with it! Plus, the appearance of this luggage is so chic! I even heard a few comments in the airport about people loving my carry-on. That will sure brighten ones day!!!

Date Night
I wore this maxi on our first date night there!!! We went to the cutest little seafood joint on the water - Latitude 31. We listened to live music, ate delicious food and drank some tasty cocktails (well Taylor drank beer) haha! The sunset was out of this world gorgeous!!! Today I am headed back to Raleigh because Nursing school starts back this Wednesday!!! Ahhh, pray for me! I graduate this December, and I'm currently freaking out! Ya'll will have to bare with me while I try to juggle nursing school, precepting, blogging, long-distance relationship, family, etc. This semester is definitely going to be a hard one, but with the Lord, my family, Taylor, and friends by my side I know I can get through anything that's ahead!!!
